We had some fun at Savannah, GA during the week end of July 4th. We loved the history and sites. Savannah has 21 "Squares" (small parks that are the center of their historic grid layout). Here we are at the Lafayette Square. The Chippewa square is where the filming place of the movie Forrest Gump took place. The scene where Forrest sits on the bench and used the well known line, "Life is like a box of Chocolates..." was filmed at that spot.
